Zurvita has a new look!

New wild berry

With the big national convention done, Zurvita released their new look. What can I say but  that it is a huge improvement over what they had before. It’s always exciting when change takes place as it has the ability to revitalize people’s desire to improve. I have taken some time away, life does get busy, and my resolve to see my business grow has become vitally important to me. Helping people live healthier lives and seeing the changes that they go through is amazing. The stories of people feeling better, having more energy and noticing that their joints don’t hurt anymore…keep flowing in. People that have started taking Zeal, went away and are now back, puts a smile on my face. This stuff works and the fact that it is healthy for the body is pure joy. All these sport energy drinks are nothing more than toxic waters that we willingly pour into our bodies. Life is meant to be enjoyed and I for one want to treat this vessel like a temple and keep it as healthy as I can possibly make it.

The golden era…

We live in the golden years of the internet. Everything is available with a few well typed words in any search engine. Information is easy to access and online tutorials take all the guess work out of projects. What we have at our disposal is far more than what was present a decade ago. Online businesses are the future! I don’t need to convince anyone that the last statement that I have made is true. The ability to work from home, a coffee shop, hotel room, or any country is only a simple internet connection away. I have read that MLM is the one business that produces more millionaires than any other business out there. It doesn’t seek degrees, business savvy, or any experience at all. What it does require is a willingness to put in the effort to make it grow. Zurvita has made $80 million in 2015. Not too shabby for a company that has been around for 5 years. 2016 has the potential to see the company exceed $100 million and the growth that they are about to experience is still in its infancy. The Zeal wellness has been giving its users more energy and a sense of well being that is growing rapidly. The health and wellness sector is a 3 trillion dollar industry worldwide. To put it into a proper light….the pharmaceutical industry is a whopping one trillion world wide. Heath and wellness is three times its size. I, for the life of me, cannot understand why more people aren’t jumping at the opportunities that are available to have more disposable income. It doesn’t have to be Zurvita, but it does need to be something that you believe in. In the three months that I have been doing this I have seen a solid growth in my business. The funny thing is that I use very little of the multimedia that is available to me….it feels foreign (yeah I know, here I am telling people to use the internet and I freely admit to not fully practising what I am preaching….shame on me). There are so many different sources to use that a business can be started with a strong presence from the first few minutes after signing up to be a consultant. Facebook is such a valuable tool as it is a meeting place for online universe…almost everyone uses Facebook. Twitter gets the message out quick and is looking at expanding the amount of information that can be sent via a tweet (from 140 characters to 10,000). Youtube gives anyone the ability to place content that is visible to its viewers. No need for a TV and production budget as most smart phones have the capability to shoot decent footage. My business is ran from my iPhone and a MacBook Pro (and the iPhone is used infinitely more). The possibilities are endless…..contact me to see how Zurvita will work for you.

I will always be a huge advocate for the human touch. Meeting people face to face and just engaging them in conversation. I do feel that it is important to add this as we do need to establish relationships with others that isn’t on an online source. Texting someone doesn’t count as a personal conversation. There is power in a handshake that shouldn’t be lost or forgotten. It has been, is now and will always be my preferred means of doing business. I like people….its nice to show them that from time to time!

New year with wonderful potential…

It’s always exciting to start another year with renewed energy to build onto something that has been quite successful. I would like to thank all the wonderful people that have supported me in the beginning of this journey. It has been so much fun getting to met new people and connect with those that I consider to be friends. I have lots of learning still ahead of me but I am so excited to see what 2016 brings for this business. Thanks again for a great 2015!!!!

Simple reflections…

There is something special about a cup of coffee and some free time early in the morning. Everything is nice and quiet and I have time to reflect before the madness of the day starts. Things have been going quite well with Zeal and I am quite pleased in the way that it is being received. I love that I am now at the point that the people that initially started with me are now getting me referrals. People are excited about the energy that they are getting from Zeal wellness or how good the Protein tastes that they are expanding my business….that is amazing to watch. My beautiful wife has been a promotional machine and has brought the line into her fitness classes. Samples are still heading out the door and I am putting a nice dent into the large portion of business cards that I have bought. What is nice is that people are noticing the success that I am having and inquires are starting about how they can come aboard. My plan has always been to lead my business in a way that would inspire others to follow. To make this far more than money but rather make it part of my lifestyle. My desire is to travel and chase the wind and surf. I want to help others to be able to have the financial freedom to chase their dreams. The process is starting and I look forward to seeing how 2015 comes to an end!

Pura Vida….

When I set out to see if this could be a possible business, I came in with an open mind. I never start something that I don’t believe has the potential to be something wonderful. I knew that I was coming into it with no experience but I do have the patience to learn. I think that my biggest advantage over most that start is that I have no expectations to be instantly successful. I expect to struggle and fail as I learn this trade. I am okay with my business starting off slow. I enjoy seeing what works and what doesn’t. The fact their are some many different variables in how that you deal with people is what I find absolutely appealing. Talking to people is one of the best ways to learn so much if you are just willing to listen. We all want the same things…happiness, good health and financial security! Now I have found something that enables me to provide that to them in some degree. People ask me what is my motivation for this business and I say that same thing every time…. the freedom to live my life on my time. That is my Pura Vida!

Facebook-timeline-cover-on-failure8

It’s funny how we can allow the simplest of things the right to squander opportunities. Fear is a learnt behaviour that we give such high priority to. We allow these doubts of failure to take away the things that would allow us to grow and be successful. We learn from failure, we grow from failure and ultimately find success. Its all a process and we can learn to let go of fear. It amazes me to see people not try something new because they don’t want feel inadequate. I have talked to so many people about Zeal and they are afraid of not being successful. They doubt that they can do this before they have even made the effort to try. The sad part is that they have failed already before they even took that tiniest of step forward. We are a people of excuses and somedays. The problem is that someday is nothing more than I will never allow myself the joy of doing something with a risk. I pick up far to many people in my “regular job” that are in the final stages of their lives. They all say the same things to me and it reverberates within my soul….GO FOR IT! Chase that dream, try new things and cherish those that are around you. Have the attitude that failure is only achieved when you stop trying. Celebrate your success with others and teach accordingly.

If you are letting fear stop you from chasing a dream than maybe its time to look into that fear a bit more closely.

Lessons learnt from Negative people….

Will-SmithAs I sit down this morning listening to the rain and having my morning coffee, I can’t help but to reflect on a conversation that I had with a particular person. Negative people are everywhere, but this person made a point of finding me to dispel the myth of multi level marketing. This is the type of person that has been there, done that and actually created the T-shirt. Now to add a little context to the story, I have been placing many posts on Facebook declaring the virtues of Zeal wellness and the value that it can be to people as a part time job. I am a big supporter of the Zeal wellness drink far before I had any desire to sell the product. The energy and increase recovery time after sports are reason enough to use it every day. The fact that when I wake up in the morning that my right shoulder isn’t on fire has me sold also (lots of anti-inflammatory foods in this drink). Well this person feels that my posts are misleading to people as no product is that good nor is MLM a suitable job for anyone. Normally at this point I would just generally do the honourable thing of giving them the courtesy of a “sorry that it didn’t work for you” but than excuse myself from the conversation. To be honest I was quite intrigued to what his complaints were so I could possibly learn from his mistakes. He was part of another big weight loss company that has been very popular in the area (one that I had previously looked into). This guy had been in it for no more than six months and stated that he was paying out far more than he ever earned. He was also very passionate that it is a pyramid scheme (only the top people make money). Now the first thing that popped into my mind was that six months is not an adequate time as he is still completely in the infancy of his business. The statement about MLM being a pyramid scheme is a completely false statement as any pyramid scheme is illegal. He went on complaining that the product wasn’t any good and that he didn’t have any support from his up line nor the company.

images-5

So here we have four issues but what are the solutions?

  1. Limited effort with no payouts….ultimately that is what this guy had achieved. When asked how much effort did he place into promoting the product, he simply stated some. What does some qualify as? Anything done with limited effort will always produce limited results. I have read that it takes the average person 6 independent exposures to process brand affiliation. That means that you have to have a constant stream of information and pictures to spark interest into the average consumer. They don’t buy what they don’t know. This person felt that he should have been making some serious money within the first six months. It is very possible to achieve that but it requires a serious investment of time and energy to make that happen. Most people who don’t succeed in MLM isn’t due to the payouts but rather a lack of interest in achieving them. If you want something bad enough than you will do what needs to be done to achieve it.
  2. MLM is a pyramid scheme as only the top people make money. Here is the biggest hurdle that anyone who gets into this career has to tackle for future prospects. Everyone that I talk to at some point makes that statement as a reason to why they are not interested. First off, MLM is not a pyramid scheme…they are illegal. Yes they follow similar structures but in pyramid schemes, when the music stops, only the people holding the money win. MLM is sales (we sell products that people buy, not get rich schemes). Zurvita has invested a lot of money into creating one of the best superfood/vitamin and mineral drinks on the market. You become a distributor and rep for the company, who are paid by sales. You are the top of your company and bring in other consultants, who in turn do the same. You ultimately profit from the team that you develop as those above you have done. Will there be people who will make more money than you….yeah that is a fact of life in general. The part that this guy failed to see was that he had the ability to grow that business into something that would have produced an ever growing income. He seemed too focused on people profiting off what he was buying than he did on expanding his potential to earn more.
  3. No belief in the product. Yeah that sells a whole lot when you don’t actually like what you are selling. He has obviously picked the wrong products to endorse. It was apparent to me from the start that he was solely interested in the financial end than anything else. Seeing dollar signs is great but when you don’t have the passion for what you are repping than it is easy to give up. Being excited about Zeal for me was right from the start. I was getting others to try it even before I had the desire to sell it. My beautiful wife (a successful fitness instructor and business owner) saw the potential of it right from the start. I am talking about Zeal to everyone  as I see it as something that everyone should be taking. Promoting it comes naturally when you love it. Sales follow passion!
  4. Lack of support. To me this is the biggest issue of the four and one that is essential in having success. Starting out is daunting to say the least. You don’t know the product as well as you should. You aren’t familiar with the  best ways to make the sale and need to have people that you can turn to when you hit hurdles. Your up line has been there and done that! They are the ones that should be assisting you in avoiding some of the big mistakes that we often make in being new. I am blest to have amazing people like Tim and the sudbury crew who have been wonderful people to work with. Tim has been there at all hours of the night in getting me past hurdles and dealing with my frustrations (yes I get frustrated a lot)! When you don’t have support than your chances are pretty slim in making it work. He didn’t explain as to what his issues about the company where but he never had a connection with them from the start.

If you have any questions wondering if this is the right fit for you than contact me for more information. This company has been experiencing record growth and just still in its infancy as a company. This is the time to get in before it becomes a household name and have the ability to start something that will provide you with that financial security. Residual income is a beautiful thing as no matter what you are doing at the moment, your making money!

Riding waves…

My last kitesurfing session was one that still stays with me today (granted it was but a mere few days prior) and has many lessons that I gleamed from it. Winter is coming and I have this sense of urgency to make sure that I get out every time that the wind is going to be good as it brings in some bigger waves. Living on the Great lakes isn’t known for great surf but it is definitely there. Living in Northern Ontario isn’t known for being what you would call a business mecca either…but there are wonderful people who know how to use effectively what is here. Being out on the water taught me a few lessons of humility as I was definitely ill prepared for how big it can get. Often I find that when I am learning the ropes of this business, I seem to falter more than I succeed. Every experience is exactly that…a learning experience. Rejection is a huge part of the game as most simply can’t be bothered. The trick that I am learning, or at least attempting to learn, is to not take it personal. Far easier said than done though, as it can be quite easy to feel defeated. I want to be successful in all encounters and I am learning the cold hard truth that this is not the case for that. I have to find that balance to separate myself emotionally from the outcome but not so detached that people get the sense that I don’t care (I do care). I get humbled far more than the limited success that I have had, but the success is so rewarding. The knowledge of knowing that people can live healthier and wealthier lives is what I am striving for. Showing people that you don’t have to live paycheque to paycheque is what this business is all about. There are more millionaires made through multi level marketing than any other business in the world. The people that make the huge incomes learned to make relationships with people and taught them the same as well. I am learning that it is far better to listen to people than do all the talking. I get to see their perspectives and what they are looking for in life. I know that for myself I am looking for 3 simple things…

  1. I want to make more money and have the ability to make it no matter where I am
  2. I want to have flexibly work hours so that I can do the things that I want, when I want
  3. I want more time off to travel, be with the ones that I love and see the world

I am pretty sure that is what all people want and all three of these things can be achieved by what I am doing. Granted it will take time, but it is worth it! I absolutely love what I am doing and have the long term vision to see that it is there for the taking!

Welcome to my office

Nothing is better than having a hot cup of coffee and a few free moments to collect my thoughts. It has been a very interesting week to say the least but it has been fruitful. Got out a lot of samples and was able to share the Zeal vibe with a lot of cool people. Business cards handed out and people that I now have to make sure that I follow up on. If you like people, than MLM is for you. Getting to stop and just talk with wonderful people and have those moments of connection are quite rewarding. Listening to them and being able to share how good Zeal is and how they too can have their own business is fun to do. Granted most people aren’t in the right mindset to take on the challenge but they are definitely paying attention to see how well I am going to be doing! It’s funny because I think of what Michel Pensivy (a 300grand+ Zeal earner) said about how he loves to show people 6months to a year after where they would be today! All that time that they did nothing could have been the difference between having a better financial position than where they are today. It keeps me motivated to be push on and know that the financial rewards are coming. I am in this for the long haul and absolutely love it. The knowledge of knowing that I am helping people to live healthier lives but also showing them a way to living wealthier lives is simply awesome.

Here was a Zurvita day for me yesterday….I have been watching the weather forecast for the past week and saw that Providence Bay on Manitoulin was going to have huge winds and bigger waves! I set up to the call to head out for some kitesurfing fun in probably the biggest day of the year. Gear packed, boards loaded and I set off to met a good friend at Timmies for the dawn patrol session. What now is different is that I bring Zeal wellness with me and business cards. Zeal is now part of what I do and even when setting out to have an Epic day on the water, I see chances to further my business. I tell the crew, “welcome to my office”, while standing on the beach watching head high waves crashing onto the shore. That right there is why I have decided to make this my future career…the fact that I can live a life that I want and use that to grow my income. I cannot understand why anyone wouldn’t want that type of freedom in their lives…I guess some just need the grind of a 9to5’er to grow someone else’s business instead of their own! Welcome to my office…

The hope of things to come

Life is all about the highs and the lows. The good times and the moments that we struggle through. MLM is exactly that… highs and lows, success and failures. It is easy to be excited when things have promise and all seems to be going better than planned. What happens when the wheels start to fall off? Do we rise up and fix the problems or rather just burn out with it? My journey (still in it’s infancy) has been more lows than highs. People seem to have some issues with this business concept that is all routed in some misconceptions. We sabotage our futures because we don’t understand the process of growth….we want instant success. I have to remind myself daily not to fall into the trap of waiting for that big break, but rather create the opportunities for success. Nothing beats simply putting our nose to the grind stone and getting the job done. Nothing is given but rather has to be earned….here’s to reaping what the future holds!

Cheers,

Jimmy
